The Program

The Master in Digital Advertising and Communication is a 13-month online program aimed at professionals who are unable to leave their places of residence and work for extended periods of time.

The Master focuses on the tools and skills required of the successful manager within the advertising and communication industry. The program provides you with the specialized skills and knowledge that this unique industry demands.

Structure

Lasting 13 months the Master in Digital Advertising and Communicationt is divided into 2 learning modules, each of which consists of a 22-week online period. The first will teach you business fundamentals and the second will focus in on the more specialist skills and knowledge requiredby the digital advertising and communication industry.
Also featured are 3 face-to-face periods lasting 2 weeks each. These periods take place at the beginning, middle, and end of the program, the first and third in Madrid, and the second in London

During your time in London you will participate in the Adtech London conference and expo, an international leading interactive marketing event (www.ad-techlondon.co.uk), where you will have the opportunity to rub shoulders with the industry's finest.

Our selection process focuses on leadership potential, strong academic ability, and personal qualities and characteristics. The Admissions Committee will consider the following:

  • A Bachelor degree from an accredited college/university (or a degree equivalent to 180 Eurocredits).
  • Demonstrated professional experience in any field.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
  • A complete application including all supporting documents.

In order to evaluate each candidature more thoroughly, the Admissions Committee may also require the GMAT/GRE/IE Admissions Test and/or the TOEFL examination.

Admissions Process

Course Fees

Candidates pay a non-refundable application fee of 120 €, to cover administrative costs.

The tuition fees for the Master in Digital Advertising and Communication Management for the February 2008 intake total 27,000 € + 1,050 € (contribution to the IE Business School Foundation).

Admission is valid for two years, so the successful applicant has up to this limit to reserve place on an intake. In order to secure a place on the Master in Digital Advertising and Communication Management, intake students are required to make a deposit equivalent to 20% of the total program fees (5,400 €) + the contribution to the IE Business School Foundation (1,050 €).

Structure

  • Face to Face Periods
    Work on concepts and skills that require face-to-face contact with professors and fellow students. Running for two weeks each, the first and last periods take place in Madrid, with the second in London, UK.
  • Online Periods
    The virtual campus is the fundamental point of reference for the online activities that form a communication platform for group work and for the online sessions hosted by professors. Students participate in online forums with easy access to the comments, opinions and experiences of professors and fellow students. These online forums will be active 24 hours a day, allowing convenient time management and facilitating active participation.

The online format allows students from anywhere in the world and with any working timetable or travelling requirements to attend the Master in Digital Advertising and Communication Management. Based on the case method, it allows the participant to adopt a proactive attitude, thanks to a highly motivating methodology that ensures intensive communication, ensuring enthusiasm, interest, and commitment at every stage.
